Located at the eastern edge of Superior, just off of Highways #2, 53 and Moccasin Mike Road, Wisconsin Point offers an unforgettable view of the Great Lake Superior. "The Point" is nature at its best. An endless sandy beach leads to a gold mine of driftwood and agates. A small Indian burial ground offers a glimpse of the past. The Superior Entry Lighthouse marks the spot of the Superior entry to the harbor. Many foreign and domestic ships enter the Duluth-Superior Harbor through this natural entry. Small boats use the entry to pass from the Harbor into the Lake.
