The City of Universal City is a progressive city of approximately 14,000, with an annual growth rate of 4 percent. Universal City is the center of the Randolph Metrocom, and was once called the "Gateway to Randolph AFB." It plays a major role in the Austin-San Antonio growth corridor. Universal City is home to professionals, military and civilian, active and retired. It offers new homes from $70,000 to $175,000 in well-planned and regulated subdivisions.
