Named for Revolutionary War veteran Abram Maury as part of a post war government land grant, Maury County was officially established on November 24, 1807. Last year, ten new industries and distribution centers opened facilities in Maury County, taking full advantage of our centralized location as well as our hospitality. With it's many modern and convenient business sites available, Maury County is quickly becoming "the place to be in business" in middle Tennessee for manufacturing distribution and small business opportunities. There is abundant land already zoned for industrial, commercial and office uses throughout the County.
