Beech Lake, a beautiful 1000 acre lake located in Lexington, only 30 miles east of Jackson Tennessee, is ideal for family fun; boating, swimming, water sports, picnics and camping. Lexington is headquarters for the Beech River Watershed Development Authority, an economic development project which has control over Beech lake and six additional lakes that are within 15 minutes of Lexington for family enjoyment.

Natchez Trace State Park- the State's largest and most visited park, is just six miles northeast of Lexington. The park covers over 46,000 square acres and is managed by the Tennessee Department of Conservation. The park's Pin Oak Lodge, located on Pin Oak lake, provides single and double room accommodations, including cabins, restaurant, swimming pool and tennis courts for guest.
