Croton-on-Hudson is located in Westchester County 30 miles north of New York City and runs along eight miles of the Hudson River shoreline. Situated at the confluence of the Croton and Hudson Rivers, the topography of the Village affords dramatic views of Haverstraw Bay and the Croton River Gorge. Beautiful vistas, riverfront parks and extensive wooded areas characterize this picturesque and historic Village.

Settled by Sephanus Van Cortlandt, who farmed the area and owned the area's largest mill, Van Cortlandt was recognized for feeding American patriots during the Revolution. Today, Van Cortlandt Manor is a National Historic Landmark.

The charming village has long attracted artists and performers and is distinguished by an inviting main street with nostalgic shops and gourmet restaurants.

Homebuyers are pleased to find tremendous diversity in home styles, although the price range is not terribly diverse. Most homes in this area start in the low 500’s and build up from there. This is an executive area, with many desirable homes, overlooking the water.
