It truly is a "Main Street USA" kind of town, with the Courthouse at its center, new gas lamps with hanging flower baskets, upscale specialty shops and restaurants, sidewalk dining, clean streets, a traditional Memorial Day parade where everyone comes, local concerts on the Courthouse lawn, children's programs and community-built playgrounds, (check out kids castle on the Web!), Victorian homes with front porch swings, a vast array of unusual museums and so MANY cultural activities!

People come HERE to shop and play, not to the malls! Whenever people come here from other areas of the country, they ALWAYS say, "This feels like home". Wait 'til they see Santa on Main Street in December!!!

From our very beginning as a Colonial stage coach stop Doylestown has been unique. We have evolved and progressed into the 21st century while continually retaining our original vintage and character. Doylestown offers its residents every amenity found in a large cities. All the while retaining our hometown flavor. We have our very own History, Museums, Orchestra, Parks, Airport, Hospitals, Police, Fire Departments, Rescue Service, Newspapers, Libraries and our Schools are unmatched.

We are the center of Bucks County and we are the home of the County seat. Our community is "America". We are culturally, religiously and ethically diversified. We owe it all to our founders and their for thought in planning. Every conceivable residential architectural design will be found traveling our streets. We retain the presence's of our past and continue to progress into future.
