In addition, nearby Central Ohio Technical College, Denison University and Ohio State University feed into our work force. Heath's forward-looking growth is built on an industrial base that includes companies such as Boeing North American, Kaiser Aluminum and Arvin/Meritor Automotive.

New housing developments have paved the way for growth, along with affordable homes in already established residential areas... plus a wide range of condominiums and apartments. Heath is as committed to preserving our history as we are in looking to our future. Our history is evidenced by the burial mounds of the Hopewell People, the canals that once meandered throughout Ohio providing the basis of distance transportation, and the Davis-Shai House which shows the elegance of nineteenth century home architecture. Our community is involved in the preservation of our history through the restoration of this historic home

Heath has invested heavily in one of our most important resources... our school system. Our financially stable schools have set a standard for high test scores, low pupil-teacher ratio and a commitment to technology. Expansion Management Magazine honored Heath as its Blue Ribbon School district, a nationwide award based on how well a district prepares students to be part of the work force. The schools were built with growth in mind, with room for an expanding population.
