Anderson Township is one of the most sought after communities in the area. Located on the east side of Cincinnati, it is comprised of 38 square miles of rural, wooded natural beauty with gorgeous developments. It is a very family-oriented community with parks, golf courses, and lots of entertainment close by. Mercy Anderson Hospital, access to highways, 15 minutes to downtown, 20 minutes to the airport, and a top-ranked outstanding school system all make Anderson Township a great place to live!

The Forest Hills School District is a comprehensive preschool through twelfth grade school district located in the southeastern suburbs of the City of Cincinnati. It is a solid residential community composed of Anderson Township and the Village of Newtown which approximates 40,000 residents.

One of the district's central themes, "Success for All Students," drives a commitment to the quality of education for all students enthusiastically endorsed by a five-member board of education. It is an educational system that has enjoyed strong and continuous community support that has focused initiatives and commitments of appropriate resources to afford our active students opportunities to be successful in academics, the arts, athletics, and a wide range of activity programs.

The Anderson Park District (APD) is known for its year-round schedule of special events and programs. Some of these events include the Easter Egg Hunt, Jr. High Park Parties, Brunch in the Park, and the Haunted Hike. Programs include a variety of summer camps for children, basketball leagues, indoor volleyball leagues, tennis lessons and more.

The APD owns and maintains 336 acres of land and manages another 53 acres. The 2 parcels of land that the APD manages are the Firehouse Fields and the Heritage Center. Both of these properties are owned by the Township. The 336 acres of land owned and maintained by the APD consist of 8 parks. The parks are Beech Acres Park, Clear Creek Park, Juilfs Park, Kellogg Park, Laverty Park, Riverside Park, Veterans Park, and William McNeilan Johnson Hills Park.
