Ramsey is the place to be! It has a small town feel with a population of 14,513, yet it is located only 30 miles from New York City. The community has three parks and enjoys 153 acres of Green Acres land. And, a number of county and state parks with hiking, skiing, horseback riding and other activities can also be found in the borough's backyard.

Education is important in Ramsey, with more than 97% of its students going on to higher education. It is a town that through its schools and community-based programs offers its young children and teens a wealth of opportunities to grow and flourish. In addition to first-rate public schools, there is also St. Paul's Roman Catholic elementary school and Don Bosco Prep, a secondary school.

Ramsey residents enjoy a lively Main Street comprised of restaurants, retail shops, groceries, coffee shops, and a movie theater; a large municipal pool complex; and a library with an updated computer system.
