The town of Greenland is located on the outskirts of Portsmouth. It is bordered on one side by frontage on the scenic Great Bay. It provides immediate access to Route 95 for commuting south to Massachusetts or north to Maine. Greenland has its own elementary and junior high schools and uses Portsmouth senior high school. Greenland offers a mixture of many historic older homes as well as established family neighborhoods.
