The town of Woodbury covers 36.8 square miles and is home to approximately 8,000 residents. Woodbury was settled in 1672 by three families and was quickly incorporated two years later in 1674. It originally included land now incorporated as the Towns of Bethlehem, Roxbury, Southbury and Washington. Woodbury is primarily a residential community. The Town Green is a lovely example of Traditionalism, surrounded by the charming Historical District. Woodbury's charms have been carefully conserved by it's residents. Houses in Woodbury include some of the original houses from the 1700's, and an array of colonials, deluxe condominiums, apartment complexes and new homes built with traditional designs as well as innovative contemporary floorplans.
