Two parks are located on Highway 20 in Lucerne. Alpine County Park has fishing, a playground, and a lake swimming area. Lucerne Clubhouse County Park features a clubhouse, picnic facilities, and lake swimming. The Parks department also maintains Lucerne Harbor County Park, off Highway 20. It has a boat launch ramp, a breakwater fishing pier, picnic facilities, and a playground for public use.
