Known for its "Southern Hospitality", Hartselle is quickly becoming one of the more popular towns in North Alabama in which to live. We are located ten miles south of Decatur, twenty-five miles west of Huntsville, and seventy miles north of Birmingham. Many industries are located in Hartselle and the county area. Hartselle's city school system is ranked third in the state, with one high school, one middle school and three elementary schools. The hospital is equipped with the only cardiac rehab unit in the county, top ranked nurses in the state and an out-patient surgery facility. The city of Hartselle also has many antiques stores and specialty shops. Hartselle is located within a short driving distance to many lake resorts, golf courses and other recreational facilities.
