The City of Auburn was incorporated on February 2, 1839, with the center of the original 1,280-acre tract located at the corner of College Street and Magnolia Avenue, known as "Toomers Corner", which is just 1/2 block from my office. To some, Auburn is called the "Loveliest Village on the Plains." You will find that Auburn is a special community because it has a friendly small town atmosphere and lots of southern hospitality.

At the center of everything is Auburn University, Alabama's largest university, with a student population of about 22, 000 and employs approximately 8,000 faculty and staff. Auburn has been cited as having the top schools in the state of Alabama. Auburn boasts beautiful homes in older neighborhoods as well as new.

If you like golf, you would enjoy living on one of Auburn's premier golf courses. Shopping opportunities are available in downtown or at the Colonial Mall and surroundings areas. Auburn has a wonderful public library, fine restaurants, city pool, Industrial/Technology Park, community centers, parks and recreation department and close proximity to regional medical center. Opelika, which is Auburn's sister city offers clean living, sound industry and theater. Our picturesque community invites you to come and enjoy the traditions and graciousness of small town living.
